A Long Island native, Robert Sedaghatpour launched STRATCO Property Solutions in 2012. His extensive career includes multiple roles in the real estate industry. As a teenager, he began in retail leasing and moved into property management, construction projects, and energy auditing positions. Rob has made STRATCO the premier consultant to the Recion’s building owners and operators.

Rob saw opportunities in the Climate Leadership and Community Protection Act (2019), redirecting STRATCO to focus on helping real estate principals achieve goals for reducing carbon emissions. While others emphasized the legislation’s penalties, STRATCO found value for owners, managers, and tenants. He partners clients with industry leaders, energy providers, and construction companies to reduce the cost of compliance by optimizing available incentives and rebates. This holistic approach continues to help New York State reach its goal of net-zero carbon emissions.

Believing “We are all responsible for each other,” Rob advises others to “seek the good in everyone and every situation.” He abides by this philosophy, devoting 20 minutes daily to meditation, self-reflection, and spiritual studies.

Rob also continues to fund over one hundred non-profits, including food pantries, social service organizations, scholarships, community housing for those with mental health challenges, organizations for single mothers, vocational training for those on the Autism Spectrum, and various Jewish groups.
