NYSERDA Multi-family Performance Program (MPP)
We hope this newsletter finds you well. We are pleased to announce that STRATCO has been recently named a NYSERDA Multi-family Performance Provider (MPP). To learn more about what MPP is and how it may benefit your multi-family property, please click here . As a NYSERDA multi-family provider we have access to various programs and incentives for NYS properties. MPP may be good for you if you are:
- Planning capital improvements, like heating system upgrades
- Undergoing a renovation or retrofit
- Refinancing your property
- Seeking a low-income housing tax credit (LIHTC) or repair grant
- Participating in an energy audit through Local Law 87
- Participating in a utility program, weatherization assistance program (WAP), or other NYSERDA program—improvements through these programs count toward your 15% energy savings target
You should consider MPP early in the process of making improvements to your building to make the most of incorporating energy savings into your project.
There are other programs that you can benefit fro m. We have 3 criteria below for you to consider:
- You own or lease office space in NYC. You want a complementary energy study.
- You have installed heat pumps mini-split units since January 2019 or are planning to install in 2020. You want to obtain the rebates for such installs.
- Your property is obligated to file an energy audit and retro-commissioning Energy Efficiency Report (EER) electronically to DOB AKA LL87 by 2020 or 2021 and want NYS funding assistance to decrease the total cost of the study.
