Company Mission
Value engineer projects in New York State and Connecticut to decrease carbon emissions on buildings. Obtain government incentives based on the carbon emissions savings per project thru regulatory authorities.
Typical measures that qualify are building envelope improvements, electrification of HVAC, lighting, and solar.
Job Responsibilities
Make introductions to developers, engineers, architects, lenders, and any player in the space that may have access to a new construction or rehabilitation project.
Geographic preference in every area of NYS and Connecticut.
Skills Needed
Must have strong communication skills. Industry relationships preferred but not mandatory. Must have strong diligence skills on identifying key contacts and drafting communications. Must be a self-starter. This is a goal-oriented position and results driven. Strong organization skills are a must.
Hours
Can work on a part-time, full-time, or contract basis. The below is a typical compensation structure, and is open to change based on the applicant’s skill set and experience.
Part or full-time, $17-20/hour pending qualifications. Person will be responsible for procuring introductions, sourcing projects, and identifying new local markets to enter.
Contract basis – STRATCO will provide 8% commission of all net STRATCO sales thru leads for up to 1 year. This is an effective role for someone already committed to another firm or another position. Typically full time investment sales brokers may find this advantageous. They may be able to make 5-15 introductions a week. For those working on a contract basis, we have a list of firms that we are seeking intros to, and we have a draft intro email template to help expedite the work. A range of commission fees may be $1,000 to $5,000 per project.

Geographic Focus
NYC and Westchester currently have an incentive freeze but we are still aggregating applications. We are anticipating this to re-open. This is great opportunity throughout the rest of NYS.
